About

Hussy Hicks are a dynamo duo with a global engine – Leesa Gentz’s powerhouse vocal leading the charge and Julz Parker’s guitar work lighting it up. Since 2006 they’ve toured the world, stacking festival stages including countless appearances at Blues On Broadbeach while building a diehard fanbase on the back of soul rich harmonies, ripping musicianship and fearless genre blending across blues, folk, rock and roots. Their album Swimming in Uncertainty hit #1 on the ARIA Jazz & Blues Chart and topped the AIR Independent Album Chart, putting numbers to what crowds already knew: this band lands hard and lifts higher. Live, it’s pure voltage – tight, emotive and joyously uncontained, leaving audiences fired up and coming back for more.
