Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 March 2026

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Choon platform and any related websites, pages, features, applications, media embeds, event listings, account systems, communication tools, ticket referral pathways, and business services made available by Choon. By browsing the platform, creating an account, linking a third-party account, publishing content, or using any interactive feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies, notices, or additional conditions referenced within them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the service. If you use Choon on behalf of a venue, artist, organisation, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Nature of the service

Choon is a live music discovery, profile, and event promotion platform intended to help fans discover gigs, help artists promote themselves, help venues publish and approve live events, and help relevant stakeholders assess interest and engagement. The platform may include or later expand to include social features, paid subscriptions, promoted profiles, analytics, referral attribution, ticketing integrations, direct ticket sales, event operations, and other commercial services. Choon does not guarantee that any listing, profile, media asset, ticket link, schedule, promoter relationship, or third-party service will remain available, accurate, current, or free from interruption, and all service features may be amended, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without liability except where required by law.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and maintaining an account, and you must keep your login credentials secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account unless such activity results directly from Choon's own unauthorised conduct or a failure for which Choon is legally responsible. Account roles, including fan, artist, venue administrator, and platform administrator, carry different permissions and visibility settings, and you must not misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation, venue ownership, artist relationship, booking authority, or verification status. Choon may refuse registration, suspend access, remove content, or terminate accounts where identity, authority, authenticity, or compliance concerns arise.

4. Content, submissions, and accuracy

You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any content you submit to Choon, including account information, artist biographies, venue descriptions, event details, dates, times, artwork, media embeds, ticket destinations, booking contacts, gallery images, verification notes, and any other material or metadata supplied through the platform. By submitting content, you represent that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and authority to publish that content and to allow Choon to host, display, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes, and distribute it within the service for discovery, promotional, moderation, operational, and business purposes. Choon may remove, edit, reject, or restrict content in its discretion where it believes the content is inaccurate, misleading, infringing, offensive, harmful, unlawful, or otherwise inconsistent with the operation or reputation of the platform.

5. Venue and artist workflows

Choon may provide workflows allowing venues to create gigs directly, artists to submit gigs for venue approval, and venue or artist accounts to request or manage partnerships. Approval states, moderation states, verification states, and partnership states are operational tools of the platform and do not constitute legal endorsement, business partnership, contractual acceptance, or a guarantee of authenticity beyond the specific platform meaning assigned to those features. Choon may track and surface audience interest, attendance intent, follows, likes, page views, and related engagement signals in order to assist discovery, planning, and business decision-making, but such signals are indicative only and should not be treated as a guarantee of actual attendance, revenue, or commercial success.

6. Fees, referrals, and future paid services

Certain features of Choon may be offered free of charge, while others may be made available on a paid subscription basis, a promotional basis, a referral or commission basis, or another commercial model introduced from time to time. Choon may track outbound ticket clicks, profile interactions, conversion signals, and related analytics to support reporting, invoicing, referral attribution, and future commercial functionality. Any fees, charges, subscription terms, commission arrangements, billing cycles, cancellation rules, or payout conditions applicable to future paid services will be governed by the specific commercial terms presented at the time those services are offered. Unless expressly stated otherwise, no person is entitled to compensation, refund, rebate, or commission simply by using the platform or by appearing on it.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not use Choon to deceive users, impersonate another person or business, misrepresent event information, publish unauthorised or infringing material, harvest data, scrape the service at scale without permission, interfere with security controls, circumvent moderation or payment systems, submit malicious code, harass others, manipulate analytics, inflate engagement signals, or use the platform in any manner that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or commercially harmful to Choon or its users. You must also not attempt to obtain unauthorised access to accounts, administrative tools, or non-public platform data. Choon may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, preserve records, or cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities where appropriate.

8. Intellectual property and platform rights

The Choon service, including its software, layout, interface, branding, design system, text, graphics, code, databases, and platform-specific features, is owned by or licensed to Choon and protected by applicable intellectual property and unfair competition laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by law, you may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, publicly display, reverse engineer, decompile, extract, frame, or otherwise exploit any part of the service without prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Choon intellectual property to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party names, logos, event posters, ticketing brands, and embedded media remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Choon platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or accuracy. Event details, artist lineups, venue status, dates, times, prices, sold-out status, external ticket availability, and third-party service behaviour may change without notice and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Choon is not responsible for the conduct of venues, artists, fans, promoters, ticketing services, social platforms, or any other third party, and Choon does not guarantee the outcome of any booking, sale, attendance, partnership, or referral opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be lawfully excluded, but otherwise Choon's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

10. Suspension, termination, and changes

Choon may modify, suspend, restrict, or terminate any account, feature, listing, or access pathway where it considers such action necessary for security, moderation, legal compliance, business operations, technical maintenance, product evolution, or protection of the platform and its users. Choon may also revise these Terms from time to time, with revised versions taking effect when published or as otherwise indicated. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law. Because the platform is evolving toward broader subscription, referral, and ticketing functionality, you should review these Terms periodically and avoid relying on any single feature remaining unchanged.
