These instructions apply to every Choon account, including accounts created or connected using Facebook Login, Google sign-in, or Apple sign-in.
Operated by CHOON LIVE PTY LTD ACN 698 988 242 ABN 16 698 988 242.
The account owner can use Choon's built-in deletion control:
Submit an account and data deletion request through the Choon contact form. Include the account username, the email address used for the account, and the sign-in provider if relevant. Do not send your password, an access token, or any provider secret.
We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to verify that you control the account before acting on the request.
Deleting your Choon account ends access to that account and removes the authentication-provider links attached to it from Choon's active account system. Personal information and account records are deleted or retained in accordance with the Choon Privacy Policy, applicable law, security requirements, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and reasonable backup or record-management requirements.
Public venue, artist, gig, or promotional information may remain where it describes a public event or organisation rather than the deleted account, where another authorised manager is responsible for it, or where Choon may lawfully retain it. Use the contact form if particular public content still contains your personal information and requires review.
If you used Facebook Login, follow the signed-in deletion steps above or submit a request through the contact form. Removing Choon from your Facebook or Meta account settings can stop future Facebook authorisation, but it does not by itself submit a Choon account-deletion request.
When the Choon account is deleted, the Facebook identity link associated with that account is removed from Choon as part of the account deletion. This does not delete your Facebook account.
The signed-in deletion control processes the request after confirmation and signs you out when deletion succeeds. Contact-form requests are reviewed and processed as soon as reasonably practicable after any required identity verification. We will use the contact details supplied with the request if we need more information or need to explain a lawful retention requirement.
