About

George & Noriko are a genre-defying duo who tear up the rulebook with their explosive fusion of Delta blues and traditional Japanese folk. Known as the Japanese Blues Cowboy and the Tsugaru shamisen queen, their high-octane performances blend lightning-fast guitar licks, growling harmonica, and the percussive fire of the shamisen into a sound that’s bold, blistering, and brilliantly original. With multiple awards, national TV features, and over 86 million YouTube views, they’ve captivated audiences across Australia and beyond. Their chemistry on stage is magnetic, their energy unstoppable, and their music a thrilling collision of East and West that unites cultures, breaks genres, and brings crowds to their feet.
