About

Julian James and Beci Kate Julian James & Beci Kate are true blue troubadours, full time bus rolling, crowd firing performers blending vintage blues, folk, alt country, soul and a lick of bluegrass into a modern Americana kick. Julian’s fingerpicking, slide and harmonica dance with groove rich percussion, while Beci Kate’s vibrant presence and harmonies sell the stories with old time charm. From Woodford Folk Festival to Tamworth, they’ve become festival regulars; named Emerging Blues Artist of the Year (2022), they keep the foot stomps coming and the sing alongs loud. Their latest, Prey to the Crow (2023), lays the cards on the table – heartfelt storytelling and a live show that transports you from New Orleans juke joints to Appalachian porches in a single set.
