Ian Moss

Listen before you go

Ian Moss is Australian rock and blues royalty, Cold Chisel architect, ARIA winner and a guitarist whose tone is etched into the country’s musical DNA. From Alice Springs to the biggest stages in the nation, Moss helped define the sound of Australian pub rock, then stepped out with Matchbook , a solo debut that went multi-platinum and stamped him as one of the great voices and players of his generation. Decades on, the fire still burns bright: Rivers Run Dry (2023) finds Moss writing with soul and singing with that unmistakable warmth and grit, while his live shows remain a masterclass in feel, finesse and emotional punch.
