MonoNeon

Listen before you go

MonoNeon is the funk futurist re-wiring the bass from the inside out; neon bright, microtonal, impossible to ignore. Raised in Memphis and forged on the internet’s wild frontier, he turned viral experiments into a global following before stepping onstage and into studios with Prince, Ne Yo, Mac Miller and Jacob Collier. As Dywane Thomas Jr., he’s racked up heavyweight credits including work on Nas’s King’s Disease and grown into a cultural force whose sound, look and fearless approach are reshaping modern bass culture. His latest album, released this year This Dirt Loves Me More Than You! is a kaleidoscope: greasy pocket, sideways harmonies, and hooks that hit both brain and body. Feast you ears on his new album live on stage with a technicolour throwdown, elastic melody, wild tone giving a performance to remember.
